Its lightweight, Mil-Spec hard-anodized 6061 T-6 aluminum and injection-molded polymer construction combines innovation in ergonomics, functionality, strength, and value. With a low-profile design that conceals internal mechanisms, it smoothly glides over obstacles. Optimized for swift, one-handed adjustments, it transitions quietly between configurations. In the shooting position, it easily stabilizes with forward tension, without risk of failure or warping. Its aluminum, stainless steel, and reinforced polymer components ensure long-lasting performance and reliability while reducing weight. Weighing just over 11 oz, leg extensions securely lock with a button press on any of the seven detents. An industry-first 50 degrees of total tilt is controlled by a glove-friendly, knurled, tool-less bipod locking knob. Folded, it neatly fits under the barrel, measuring under 2.5" deep and 3.3" wide. Anodized surfaces and precise tolerances minimize squeaks and rattles. A soft rubber cap on the locking knob provides a steady, non-marring forward rest when folded. Staggered soft rubber feet maintain grip on various surfaces and are easily removable. The bipod accepts most Atlas pattern replaceable feet, excluding the Atlas 5-H style, and attaches to a standard sling swivel stud.
